This policy describes the data paths created by the current calculator rather than making a broad promise that every feature is offline.
Calculator input and shareable URLs
Supported equation solving runs in your browser and does not require a third-party math-solving API. If you use a URL with the q parameter, the equation becomes part of that URL and may appear in browser history or ordinary hosting and security logs.
Recent equations
Up to six successfully solved equation strings can be stored in your browser local storage. You can clear this history from the calculator at any time. Do not enter sensitive personal information into equations or saved history.
Photo OCR
Image OCR is optional. When you use it, the page loads its Tesseract.js assets from this site. Recognition and your image stay in the browser; no image is sent to a third-party OCR provider. The recognized text is shown for review before solving because OCR can misread handwriting and complex notation.
Cookies and analytics
A necessary preference value may be stored to remember privacy choices. Optional analytics remain disabled until consent where required. Advertising is currently disabled in the site configuration.
